HS FOOTBALL: North Schuylkill dominates Lehighton for homecoming victory, 58-21

FOUNTAIN SPRINGS – The Spartans put on a dominant performance to cap off homecoming as they hosted Lehighton Friday night.
North Schuylkill got out to a quick 14-0 lead in the first quarter.
At halftime, the Spartans had a 31-14 advantage, capped off by a 51-yard field goal by Gavin Mentzer, making up for an extra point bounced off the upright earlier in the game.
Michael Mogish and Luke Miller added big scores in the third quarter to extend North Schuylkill’s lead.
The Spartans took the victory 58-21 to improve to 6-3.
They host Pottsville next Friday night for Senior Night.
