KAYLEE LINDENMUTH / SHENANDOAH SENTINEL - Shenandoah Valley's QB Owen Kosar looks for running room during Friday's game against Schuylkill Haven.
SHENANDOAH – The Hurricanes — specifically running back Conner Goehring — were an unstoppable force Friday night in the Glover’s Hill section of town.
Schuylkill Haven visited Shenandoah Valley for week #5, and from the very beginning, they scored often.
By the end of the first quarter, Shenandoah found themselves trailing 21-6, as a pair of Goehring runs, along with a Kevin Fitzpatrick run, established dominance in the game.

Shenandoah managed to get on the board in the first through the air, with QB Owen Kosar finding WR Joey Vevasis for a 65-yard score.
Haven wouldn’t let off the throttle until the fourth quarter, scoring 27 points in the second and 14 in the third en route to a 62-6 rout of the Blue Devils.
Shenandoah Valley (0-5) will host the 1-3 Battlin’ Miners of Minersville next week.
