Hazleton model railroad society plans May open houses

HAZLETON – The Anthracite Model Railroad Society near Hazleton is gearing up for more open houses next month.
The model railroad museum at 1056 Hanover Court will be open for three weekends in May.
Those weekends are May 2-3, May 9-10, and May 23-24.
On May 10, there will be a special gift for mothers, the group says.
The museum is a 1,200 square foot HO scale model railroad layout depicting Hazleton and the surrounding area in the mid 20th century.
