Hazleton bocce squad wins gold at Schuylkill League championships

LANSFORD – A local unified bocce team is moving on to regionals.

Hazleton Area’s Cougars White team won gold in the Schuylkill League championships recently at Panther Valley High School.

The team is one of two fielded by Hazleton Area. The other, Cougars Red, won silver.
