Hazle Township Fall Festival & Trail of Treats set for Oct. 21, 22

HAZLE TOWNSHIP – The Hazle Township Fall Festival & Trail of Treats will be held on Saturday & Sunday, October 21 & 22, 2023 in Hazle Township Community Park, 37 Pecora Blvd, Hazle Twp, from 11-5 each day.

The event promotes a family-friendly atmosphere allowing participants to interact and have fun while promoting diversity and inclusion within the community.

The event will have free activities, prizes and giveaways for children within the community.

There will be a DJ and a photo booth that hosts the costume contest so participants can appear and participate at any time on both Saturday and Sunday.

The Magic of Tony Baronio, a balloon artist, face painters, petting zoo hosted by Country Heart Farm, reptile exhibit hosted by Cage-N-Tank, Tux the Penguin, a scavenger hunt along the Trail of Treats (Sun) and activities with the Miss Greater Hazleton Scholarship Organization queens including a prize wheel, pumpkin decorating and crafts will be available for the participants.

This year’s newest addition will be the Bloomsburg Fair’s #1 voted event: baby-goat snuggling with the official times yet to be determined.

Hazleton’s Drop the Drugs Van will be present Sat 12-2 and the Hazle Township Fire & Rescue will be conducting a boot drive.

There will also be food vendors, craft vendors, informational booths, tricky tray raffle tickets and instant bingo for sale.

Confirmed food vendors include Joe’s Homemade Pierogies & Mini Doughnuts, Cal’s Concessions (Taste our Balls!), Maddy’s Dog House, Wicked Food, Butcher Bob’s, Phil’s French Fries, DP Dumplings, Steward’s Potato Pancakes and Alta Pizzeria!
