Good American Fire Co. hosts second annual food truck festival

MAHANOY CITY – A little rain couldn’t stop the Mahanoy City Good American Fire Company’s second annual food truck festival and craft show Sunday afternoon.
Ten food trucks and 20 vendors lined Mahanoy Street in and around the fire company, providing attendees with a culinary experience often found on the streets of Allentown and infrequently here.
Along with the Allentown-area food trucks, local festival stands also set up for the festival, such as My Pop’s Place from Saint Clair.Vendors served a wide variety of food, from cheesesteaks to Brazilian cuisine to crabby cheese fries — cheese fries with old bay and crab meat — and more.
Inside the fire company, craft vendors were set up as well.
The proceeds from the event will go towards the Good American Fire Company.
