HAZLETON – A Hazleton Area girls’ basketball player reached a milestone Tuesday night.
Kaitlyn Bindas, a junior point guard for the Lady Cougars, scored 21 points in Tuesday’s 64-35 victory over Scranton.
She eclipsed 1,000 points with 5:07 remaining in the second quarter.
She led the Cougars in scoring followed by Molly Temchatin and Kayla Lagowy with nine apiece.
Alexis Reimold added six for the Cougars.
