Girardville ‘street takeover’ leaves parked car damaged

GIRARDVILLE – State troopers are seeking an ATV driver they say hit a new Kia when they and several other off-road vehicles conducted a “street takeover” on West Main Street here.

It happened around 8:30pm Saturday when a group of ATVs and dirtbikes entered Girardville and did burnouts and wheelies along Main Street.

At one point, an ATV rider left the group and hit a parked 2024 Kia Seltos.

The driver fell off the ATV, ditched it, and hopped on another before the group fled towards Ashland.

The ATV was towed from the scene and several of them travelled from Northumberland County.

Anyone with information as to who hit the Kia is asked to call State Police at Frackville at 570-874-5300.

  1. Unfortunately, The Ahole who hit the car zooming in the streets illegally will not get caught and if they are, they’ll get a slap on the wrist. IF homeowners who are sick and tired of the quad dicks breaking the law by speeding on public streets and use piano wire to hinder them. The homeowner will end up serving a prison term. If they hurt my visiting grandson, piano wire will be the least of their worries.
