Girardville scout pack to hold sign-ups Thursday

GIRARDVILLE – Sign-ups are this Thursday for northern Schuylkill’s newest Cub Scout pack.
The Rangers Hose Co. of Girardville is chartering Cub Scout Pack 749 and sign-ups are this Thursday at 6:30pm at the North Schuylkill Elementary Center in Fountain Springs.
Anyone with questions can contact [email protected]. Boys and girls can both join from kindergarten to 5th grade.

The pack meets at the Rangers firehouse on Ogden Street in Girardville.
Volunteers are currently undergoing a capital campaign to help offset some off the start up cost and to help ensure every kid has every opportunity, organizers tell the Sentinel.
Donations are welcome and the effort is a 501c3 nonprofit.
