Girardville, Good Time Club welcome Santa Claus to town

GIRARDVILLE – Santa Claus began his tour of northern Schuylkill County on Thanksgiving Day in Girardville, courtesy of the Good Time Club.
The club has organized a Christmas parade and welcome for half a century in the borough.
Santa, joined by the borough’s emergency services, paraded through town before stopping by borough hall for a meet and greet.
One member of the Good Time Club, Jeanette Todd, is one of the group’s founding members.
The group is also responsible for the borough’s Christmas decorations along Main Street.
