Freeze Warning issued for Schuylkill, Columbia
SHENANDOAH – Take note if you have outdoor plants. A freeze warning has been issued for our area for Tuesday morning.
The National Weather Service at State College says sub-freezing temperatures as low as 31°F are expected in Schuylkill and Columbia Counties between 4am and 9am Tuesday.
Such temperatures will damage sensitive vegetation.
Anyone with tender plants and vegetation should take protective measures, and potted plants should be brought inside.
