Frackville Little League kicks off season

KAYLEE LINDENMUTH / SHENANDOAH SENTINEL - A Frackville Little Leaguer celebrates getting an egg during the egg hunt portion of Sunday's opening day.
FRACKVILLE – Another local Little League got their season underway this weekend.
Little Leaguers in Frackville paraded through town to the ballparks, where the younger divisions participated in an egg hunt.

The league also had a moment of silence in honor of longtime volunteer John Chuma.
Larry Bennett — a longtime coach in the Frackville area and 5-time Frackville Little League champion coach — threw the first pitch.
