Fireworks committee hits goal, Ringtown celebration set

RINGTOWN – There will be a fireworks display in the Ringtown Valley this summer.
Mayor Phil Beaver told borough council at Monday’s meeting that the fundraising committee has hit their goal.
“We will be having fireworks down at the tee ball field this year,” Beaver said. “We also have food vendors coming down there.”
The celebration is set for July 5, Beaver said.
A block party is also in the works at the Ringtown Valley Fire Company, he said.
In other business, council discussed the need for members of the Ringtown Valley Recreation Committee.
Multiple members have either left or are leaving.
