Driver rolls truck, escapes injury in Brandonville

BRANDONVILLE – A driver escaped injury when he overran a corner entering this East Union Township village, rolling his truck late Sunday.

The crash happened around 10:20pm in the area of the former Citizens Fire Company at Main Boulevard and Spring Water Boulevard.

State troopers at the scene said the driver of a Dodge Ram pickup travelling north on Route 924 into the village.

The driver overran the corner, struck roadsigns and rolled on a grassy embankment near the firehouse.

The driver escaped injury, and managed to right the truck and return it to the shoulder of Route 924, though the pickup suffered disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene.

Firefighters from Sheppton-Oneida responded to the scene along with Shenandoah Community Ambulance.
