Downed tree causes crash in Main Twp.
MAINVILLE, Columbia County – Two people escaped injury when they struck a downed tree near here in snowy conditions Monday.
State Police at Bloomsburg said the crash happened around 11pm Monday near 9619 Sycamore Drive in Main Township.
Troopers said Katherine O’Donnell, 20, of Catawissa, was headed north on Sycamore Drive in a 2010 Toyota Corolla.
A tree had fallen across the roadway and O’Donnell, troopers said, did not see the tree in “sudden snowy weather conditions.”
Neither her or her passenger, Tara O’Donnell, 51, of Catawissa, were injured.
The Toyota was towed from the scene.
