LAVELLE – A diner chain’s first location in our area is now open.
Huddle House opened Saturday morning on Route 901 in Lavelle.
The diner had been under construction for more than a year, as part of a project to rebuild the Sunoco gas station.
That project recently wrapped up and the diner opened for business Saturday morning.
It’s primarily a southern chain and is known for its breakfast offerings.
According to Huddle House’s website, the diner is open from 7am to 10pm Sunday through Friday. On Saturday, it opens at 11am and remains open until 10pm.
It is connected to a convenience store, Cheema Farms.
