Crane towers above downtown Shenandoah

KAYLEE LINDENMUTH / SHENANDOAH SENTINEL - A crane from Dunmore Roofing rises to the sky on East Lloyd Street in Shenandoah on May 30, 2024.

SHENANDOAH – A truck-mounted crane took up much of the unit block of East Lloyd Street in town Thursday, as a roofing crew from up north worked on improvements at First National Bank.

Parking was restricted in that area as the crane rose to the sky, helping take materials up to the roof of what was formerly Merchants National Bank of Shenandoah.

The work is being done by Dunmore Roofing, of Lackawanna County.
