County Treasurer summarizes hunting license changes for 2025-26 antlerless season

POTTSVILLE – The Schuylkill County Treasurer’s Office said there are some changes for this year’s antlerless hunting license sales.
Treasurer Linda L. Yeich said hunters can purchase hunting and doe licenses at the treasurer’s office in Pottsville, from the Pennsylvania Game Commission online, or from any authorized in-store license issuing agent.
The treasurer’s office will open at 8 a.m. on the first day of each round and hunters must use their customer identification number and driver’s license number instead of their Social Security number.
First round for antlerless for residents opens June 23, limit of one license. Non-resident first round opens July 7.
Second round for both is July 28 and up to two licenses can be purchased based on availability.
Third round opens August 11, with up to three licenses, and fourth on August 25 with up to six licenses.
