Columbia block party coming up this weekend

SHENANDOAH – Block party season is upon us and Shenandoah’s first of the year is this weekend.
The Columbia Hose Fire Co. will hold their annual block party Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7 from 11am to 10pm both days at the firehouse on West Centre Street.
The popular fire truck parade will start at 7pm Friday and make its way through town.
Wild Dr. North will provide music Friday night from 6pm to 10pm.
The Shenandoah All Star Polka Band takes the stage Saturday from 2pm to 6pm and Sakes Alive wraps it up from 7pm to 10pm.
Culinary favorites, including bleenies, of course, will be served up and there’ll be games as well.
