Car rolls in Union, driver flees
KAYLEE LINDENMUTH / SHENANDOAH SENTINEL - A damaged Pontiac Firebird on Brandonville Road in Union Township.
UNION TOWNSHIP – No driver was present at the scene of a rollover crash between Ringtown and Brandonville today.
State Police at Frackville were called to Brandonville Road between Scenic Lane and Pattersonville Road around 3:30pm for the crash.
A heavily-damaged Pontiac Firebird was found in the eastbound lane of the road, though no driver was present.
The vehicle was travelling west, towards Ringtown, when it struck the embankment alongside the road, turning the car over.
Klischer’s Towing, Aristes, removed the vehicle.
