Car loses control, strikes home in Wilburton

KAYLEE LINDENMUTH / SHENANDOAH SENTINEL - Wilburton firefighters at the scene of Thursday night's crash on Wilburton Road.
WILBURTON #1 – One person was treated at the scene for minor injuries when a sedan struck a house in this Conyngham Township village overnight.
The crash happened around 11:30pm Thursday at 822 Wilburton Road.
A Chevrolet Cruze sedan lost control on the recently tar-and-chipped highway, clipped a utility pole, and struck the home.
The driver was treated at the scene and refused transport to a hospital.
Firefighters from Wilburton and Aristes responded to the scene.
State Police at Bloomsburg are investigating.
