Canadian man cited for Lavelle crash
LAVELLE – A Canadian man was cited for speeding, state police said, after a crash during Wednesday’s snowstorm in this Butler Township village.
Troopers from the Frackville barracks said the crash happened around 1:30pm on Fairgrounds Road.
Parithimak Sinnathamby, 43, of Ajax, Ontario, a suburb of Toronto, was headed north in a 2011 Peterbilt, following Thomas Noon, 57, of Gordon, and his 2016 International.
Sinnathamby lost control of his truck, striking Noon’s truck and disabling his own.
No one was injured in the crash.
