Brandonville woman accused of assaulting husband, lying to police

BRANDONVILLE – A Brandonville woman is accused of assaulting her husband and falsely incriminating him earlier this month.

East Union Township Police filed charges Dec. 1 against Jennifer Lorah, of 44 Main Boulevard.

According to court documents, police were called to her home around 7:45pm that day for a reported domestic dispute.

Lorah told the Schuylkill County Communications Center that she was stabbed in the neck by her husband, Aaron Lorah and that he had left the scene.

Patrolman Christopher Dimmick arrived to find the home in disarray, where tables were flipped, plates were smashed, and windows were broken.

Aaron Lorah returned to the scene and provided Dimmick video of Jennifer Lorah striking him multiple times.

When asked about the video, Jennifer Lorah told police the video was a lie and the person in it was not her.

She also told police that Aaron Lorah had tried to chop her fingers with a knife.

Jennifer Lorah was taken into custody and charged with simple assault, false report to 911, and false incrimination.

She was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge Edward Tarantelli and committed to Schuylkill County Prison. She was released on bail Dec. 7.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled Dec. 22 at 9:45am in Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker’s Shenandoah courtroom.
