Brandonville man accused of exposing himself along roadside
BRANDONVILLE – A man from this East Union Township village is facing a misdemeanor indecent exposure charge after State Police say he exposed himself along Main Boulevard.
State Police at Frackville filed charges against Vince Layton, 34, of 28 Walnut Street, Thursday for the incident in October.
Troopers said they were called to Main Boulevard around noon Oct. 1 for a report of a man walking shirtless along the road, wearing pajama bottoms and lowering them to expose himself.
The caller reported seeing him along the roadside with a water jug, placing the water jug around his groin area and lowering his pants to expose himself in view of Main Boulevard. The caller then watched him jump over a guiderail and into Rattlin’ Run.
When he climbed back up the embankment, the caller recognized him as Layton.
Troopers found Layton on the porch of 29 Main Boulevard and he told them he didn’t do anything.
He told troopers the “water is poison” and “that he was being hacked.”
When troopers asked how so, he said “I don’t know man.”
Layton is facing one count of indecent exposure and a preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 7 before Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker in Shenandoah.
