Borough woman injured in Summit Station crash
SUMMIT STATION – A Shenandoah woman suffered minor injuries when she lost control of her car in the rain and struck a guiderail, according to State Police at Schuylkill Haven.
The crash happened around 4:00pm Wednesday on Route 183 south of Long Lane in Wayne Township.
Troopers said Callista Rojas Mendez, 22, of Shenandoah, was headed north on Route 183 in a 2001 Nissan Quest.
Rojas Mendez lost control of the vehicle in the rainy conditions and struck a guiderail along the side of the road.
She suffered minor injuries in the crash, troopers said.
