Borough Police: East end woman stabbed boyfriend
SHENANDOAH – An east end woman is accused of stabbing her boyfriend last night.
Borough police say they were called to the 100 block of North Bower Street around 8:00pm Saturday night for a reported possible stabbing.
Officers arrived to find that, after a verbal altercation, Anecia Garrett, 59, of Shenandoah, stabbed her 64-year-old boyfriend in the left side of his chest, just below his collar bone.
Police filed aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault, simple assault, simple assault with a deadly weapon, and reckless endangerment charges against Garrett.
She was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge Stephen J. Bayer and released on unsecured bail.
