Borough firefighters handle porch fire on West Oak

SHENANDOAH – Shenandoah firefighters made quick work of a trash fire on a porch on the southside at midday Monday.
The call came in around noon Monday at Oak and Catherine Streets for a reported house fire.
Crews arrived to find a small trash fire on a back porch of a home on West Oak.
Firefighters from the Rescue Hook and Ladder and Phoenix fire companies made quick work of the incident.
No injuries or significant property damage was reported.
