Bleenies fried up for Good Friday to benefit firehouse

WILLIAM PENN – As folks sought meatless meals on Good Friday, the William Penn firehouse was a busy place.
Volunteers spent the day frying up bleenies as dozens of customers lined up for dozens of their own.
The sale went until sellout and was described as a success.
