Bet represents northern Schuylkill, sings anthem at Farm Show livestock sale

HARRISBURG, Dauphin County – Another Schuylkill County girl took to the stage — well, in this case, the podium — to honor our nation at one of our state’s largest events.

Ally Bet, 14, of Barnesville, helped open the Junior Livestock Sale at the Pennsylvania Farm Show on Tuesday.

It took place in the small arena at the Farm Show Complex.

Bet and fellow Mahanoy Area student Cadence Kline represented northern Schuylkill, and all of Schuylkill County, in their Farm Show performances.

The girls were winners of the Farm Show’s ‘Oh, Say Can You Sing’ contest and were the top two votegetters.
