Awning collapses at former Alma Dress factory

SHENANDOAH – The awning along East Coal Street at the former Alma Dress factory fell into the sidewalk Wednesday evening.
Shenandoah firefighters were called around 10pm for a reported structural collapse.
Much of the awning of the long-closed factory fell and some loose debris was taken care of by firefighters.
The area was taped off as well.
