Ashland, Fountain Springs firefighters tackle brush fire in town

ASHLAND – Firefighters in this borough tackled a brush fire Friday afternoon.
Crews were called to the area of 12th and Vine Streets for the reported fire.
Firefighters from both Ashland fire companies, along with Fountain Springs and Aristes, were called to the scene.
Crews made quick work of the fire just north of Vine Street in town.
No injuries were reported.
