500+ without power in Nuremberg-Weston area

WESTON, Luzerne County – Over 500 PPL customers are without power in the Weston area just over the Schuylkill County line, along with another thousand in the Conyngham Valley.
PPL’s outage map shows a weather related outage impacting 531 customers stretching from Nuremberg to Weston and including the Fern Glen area.
The outage is expected to be repaired by 9:30pm tonight.
A larger area of southern Luzerne County, including Rock Glen and much of the Conyngham Valley, is reportedly without power as well.
Over 1,100 people are impacted by that outage, which is expected to be repaired by 10:00pm tonight.
