$500 swiped from wallet downtown

SHENANDOAH – $500 in cash was stolen from a wallet in downtown Shenandoah this past Sunday.

State Police at Frackville released information on the incident yesterday, reporting that they were called to 12 North Main Street — Puff Tobacco — for a theft report.

A 26-year-old borough woman told troopers that her wallet was left unattended for about 10 minutes, between 11:30am and 11:40am, and when she returned to her wallet, $500 was missing.

Anyone with information is asked to contact State Police at Frackville at 570-874-5300.
