2023 Week 10 Scoreboard
It’s the final week of the regular season of high school football!
Mahanoy Area (3-6) hosts the Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils (2-7) for the 115th time in the latest edition of the rivalry, which dates back to 1899. The two teams are playing for the Damato-Szematowicz Memorial Trophy, and have done so off-and-on since 1945.
The Bears are playing for more than another win in the longest win streak of the series. A spot in the Eastern Conference Playoffs is on the line. Mahanoy needs to win and Northern Lehigh (3-6) needs to fall to Palmerton (9-0) to make it. We’ll be tracking that game tonight along with our normal games.
North Schuylkill (7-2) is on the road, facing Pottsville (3-6) tonight as well. North Schuylkill is District playoff bound regardless of tonight’s results.
