“Our memories of yesterday will last a lifetime we’ll take the best, forget the rest, and someday we’ll find these are the best times” -Styx
Mahanoy Area’s Class of 2020 consists of 66 graduates, who will be recognized via a virtual graduation June 3 at 7pm.
“The Class of 2020 has learned to triumph over adversity during unprecedented times,” said Daniel Nester, class adviser. “Unknown circumstances have shaped them into the individuals they are today. The members of this class have become a family. The support and guidance they have received from those around them have guided them, and it is now their time to decide which direction they will lead their lives.”
“While their senior year may have come to an unexpected end, their roots unite them as one. The Class of 2020 has left a lasting impression in the halls of Mahanoy Area which will not be forgotten,” Nester continued. “As the members of this class venture off into the world, certainly the Class of 2020 will not let the Coronavirus Pandemic of 2020 define who and what they will become.”
