Street paving projects begin in borough

SHENANDOAH – The two street paving projects approved in August began today.

Crews from Ronnie C. Folk Paving, Shoemakersville, were at work Thursday morning on West Coal Street, milling and paving the 700 block between Walnut Street and Elementary Road.

In addition to that block, the company will also repave the unit block of South White Street. No Parking signs adorned that block Thursday.

According to the no parking signs, parking restrictions will be in place from 7am until 6pm between today and Monday.
