Fire damages Blazer in Turkey Run
TURKEY RUN – An SUV was damaged by fire in this section of Shenandoah borough Monday afternoon.
Shenandoah firefighters were called to the 600 block of Furnace Street just before 5:30pm for a reported vehicle fire.
Arriving crews found fire in the engine compartment of a late 1990s Chevrolet Blazer parked near a Furnace Street home.
The fire was extinguished quickly, according to Rick Examitas, fire marshal.
No one was hurt, and firefighters were clear of the scene in short order.
