Kitchen wall falls on parked cars at Chestnut and Penn
SHENANDOAH – No injuries were reported when the side wall of home on West Penn collapsed onto parked cars Thursday morning.
The incident happened just after 11:00am near the intersection of West Penn and North Chestnut Streets on the west end, when borough fire marshals and police were called to a reported structural collapse.
The kitchen wall of a home at 304 West Penn, owned by William Mooney, gave way and collapsed onto a parked Chevy Cobalt and Chevy Monte Carlo, parked in the former Brokhoff’s Dairy lot, owned by the borough.
No injuries were reported, and emergency services were clear of the scene by 11:30am.
