SV students inducted into National Honor Society
SHENANDOAH – Shenandoah Valley students were recognized for their academic prowess as they were inducted into the school’s chapter of the National Honor Society.
The top three seniors and juniors were specifically recognized with gold and silver academic excellence awards, as were two seniors for earning scholar athlete accolades, and a teacher, Tony Pytko, receiving the Crystal Apple Teacher Appreciation Award.
Recognized for academic excellence were juniors Kaitlyn Carduff, Jacqueline Bubnis, and Hunter Davis, seniors Victoria Donovan, Kaitlyn Karpovich, and Rachael Roguskie, and scholar athletes Roguskie and Alex Donchak.
Inducted seniors were: Joseph Karvois, Rachael Roguskie, Paige Konnick, Crystal Morales, Noah Tovar, Emily Papa, Alyssa Buchanan, Victoria Donovan, Jocelyn Hysock, Amaya Aftuk, William Conroy, Alex Donchak, Kayla Perrong, Darren Krill, Joseph Alshefski, and Kaitlyn Karpovich.
Inducted juniors included: Alyssa Gervalis, Kira Getz, Victoria Chernesky, Kaitlyn Carduff, Jacqueline Bubnis, Anthony Muclada, Joseph Favaro, Reese Tietsworth, Hunter Davis, Jesse Carl, Megan Bell, Nazareth Paniagua, Lena Bell, Allison Troup, and Charlie Ou.
Sophomores were recognized at the induction, though not formally inducted. The recognized sophomores were: Sydney Labosky, Trinity Molinaro, Taylor Dombrosky, Kaylee Hysock, Amy Hernandez De Aza, Brittany Kozlosky, Jacqueline Buchanan, Faith Gottshall, Gabrielle Gulden, Angelena Donovan, Haely Sosna, Alexa Menjivar, Luke Matta, Robert Boris, Owen Kosar, Brandon Adorno, David Monjaraz, Philopateer Boctor, and Connor Stasulli.
