Road work to close Route 54 between Girardville, Ashland

GIRARDVILLE – A main artery through our area will be closed beginning Monday.
Route 54 between Homesville Road and Julia Street in Butler Township, just west of Girardville, will be closed for drainage work.
Signs are up on both sides of the planned work area warning drivers of the impending closure, as are detour signs.
According to Girardville Borough, traffic will be detoured using Main Street and 2nd Street.
Route 54 will remain open to local traffic.
