Hazleton woman jailed after alleged Conyngham break-in

CONYNGHAM – A Hazleton woman is facing charges after police say she broke into a home in Conyngham earlier today.

Brooke Roman, 38, of Hazleton, was arrested on felony burglary and criminal trespassing charges Monday afternoon.

According to State Police at Hazleton, troopers were called to Benjamin Road in Conyngham around 4pm for a reported burglary in progress.

There, troopers said Roman was found in the second floor bathroom of a home.

Troopers accused Roman of breaking a kitchen window to get into the home.

She was arraigned Monday evening and committed to Luzerne County Prison, unable to post $25,000 bail.
