Minersville man killed in N. Manheim motorcycle crash
NORTH MANHEIM TWP. – A 34-year-old motorcyclist from Minersville was killed when state police said he struck a fallen tree Friday afternoon.
The crash happened around 2:30pm on Tumbling Run Road in North Manheim Township.
State Police at Schuylkill Haven said Bradley Renninger, 34, of Minersville, was headed east on Tumbling Run Road riding a 2011 Harley Davidson.
Troopers said he struck a large fallen tree that was across the roadway and was thrown from the motorcycle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said.
Assisting at the scene were firefighters from Pottsville as well as Schuylkill EMS.
