Fire destroys dump truck at Black Rock

MOREA – A dump truck is heavily damaged after a fire Thursday afternoon at a business near Morea.
Fire crews from Altamont, William Penn, and Englewood were called to 109 Firemens Road, Black Rock Trucks and Equipment, around 5:40pm for reports of a dump truck on fire.
Arriving units found the cab of a Mack tri-axle well involved.

Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control in short order, and were clear of the scene by about 6:15pm.
Black Rock Owner John Seasock expressed gratitude for the response of the volunteer firefighters.
